As a waiter you’re welcomed to the split personalities of a wide array of customers. Its your job to assure that employees are satisfied even when the cook messes up their order and your have to listen to 15 minutes of dissatisfaction, complaints and how the customer will not refer the restaurant to anyone else. You have multiple tables to deal with and even with the stress and being constantly on the move, one must still put a smile on their face, and assure they accommodate to all their customers needs. Like many people I know I love to eat out. With so many restaurants in the DMV area the options of were to go are almost limitless. I enjoy trying new food, new cuisines, and twists on regular dishes that the chef created. Going for dinner with friends or family is fun, rather than eat at home your introduced to a new ambiance with different design in the different places you go and a new selection of food offered but the variety of restaurants. In present there are so many new restaurants opening up all over the world. If your look at Washington DC for example there has been a huge growth in the restaurant and bar industry in the past few years, know allowing people to have a wide selection of foods from Thai, Mexican, French, and the list goes on.

This is the recipe that my grandmother brought with her when she and her family left Russia in the early 1900″s.
As a child around 1920′s or so, while living on a farm in Pennsylvania which at that time there were a great amount of people who came from Europe, you needed to be able to do for yourself, she learned from her mother how to make a most delicious white fruit cake, a white fruitcake is a fruitcake that does not have any molasses, molasses which is very bitter, not having the molasses in the fruitcake gives it a lighter color, this gives it the name white fruitcake.
