What happens if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, please click on the 'Forgot your Password?' link of the front of the directory or on the member login page. The password recovery email will be sent to the email address provided from your Contact Information. The email will contain a link which will redirect the member to the 'Manage Account' section, where the password can be updated.

What is - "Quick List"?

The 'View Quick List' link will redirect the user to a page which illustrates their favorite items. To add an item to your 'View Quick List' page, click the text 'Add to Quick List' on any item.

How can I print an item from the directory?

The items in the directory which have a detail page will contain a 'Print' link. Once you click the link a new page will open with the information in printer friendly format.

Is it possible to tell a friend about something found within the directory?

Yes. Each item with in the directory contains a 'Sent to Friend' link. Click the link and a pop-up will open. Please fill out all fields in the pop-up and an email will be sent to your friend

What do the numbers that appear after Category and Sub-Category names mean?

These numbers illustrate the total number of items registered under that category.

Why am I receiving an 'Account Locked' message?

If you attempt to access your account and type in an incorrect password 5 times the account will lock for 1 hour. This is for security reasons.

If I can’t remember my username and/or password, what do I do?

No problem. If you are having trouble signing in to your account, use the link below and follow the easy steps: Forgot my password  User name is your email address.

Gift Certificates Dining Deal Questions

How are the Gift Certificates and/or Dining Deal Vouchers delivered?

Simple. The Gift Certificates and/or Dining Deal Vouchers are presented on a confirmation page directly after purchase, or are sent as a confirmation email to the email address listed on the RestaurantBar.com account. Once you receive these, you can print them directly and bring them to the applicable restaurant/bar.

Is my personal and payment information secure?

Absolutely.  Protecting your personal information, including credit card information, is our top priority.  Any credit card information you submit to RestaurantBar.com will be encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and then submitted directly to a secure electronic vault, and never on our servers.
In addition, we don’t sell your personal information to any third parties.

If I don’t use the full value of the Gift Certificate or Dining Deal Voucher, can I use the remaining balance later?

No.  Unfortunately, you must use the gift certificate and Food Package Voucher in its entirety and not incrementally in each visit to the restaurant/bar.  You do not receive store credit or cash back for whatever you don’t use.

Can I buy a Gift Certificate and/or Dining Deal Voucher as a gift for someone else?

Yes – In fact, please do!  All the restaurants and bars that we work with are fully aware that RestaurantBar.com’s Gift Certificates and Dining Deal Vouchers can be gifted.
RestaurantBar.com can send Gift Certificates and/or Dining Deal Vouchers directly to a gift recipient via email.  Just select the gift option at checkout and input required information.  Then, the gift recipient will receive an email with the Gift Certificate and/or Voucher along with a instructions on how to redeem their gift.
You can also print it out and give it like a traditional gift certificate and/or voucher.  Either way, only the value of the gift certificate/deal will be displayed, not the discounted price you paid.

If my name is not on the Gift Certificate and/or Dining Deal Voucher, can I still use it?

Yes.  As long as there is an applicable validation code visibly printed on it, which can be verified by the Restaurant/Bar.

If my name is on the Gift Certificate and/or Dining Deal Voucher, can I still use this as a gift?

Yes.  Even if your name is on the Gift Certificates and/or Dining Deal Vouchers, they are still transferrable (as long as there is an applicable validation code, which can be verified by the Restaurant/Bar).

Can I combine my Gift Certificates and/or Dining Deal Vouchers with other offers or specials?

No. Not unless it is specifically stated on RestaurantBar.com.

Can I get a refund for my purchases?

Our goal at RestaurantBar.com is to provide the customer with 100% satisfaction.  And while we do not guarantee a refund except as noted elsewhere, we will try to address your concerns.  With that said, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Can my Gift Certificate and/or Dining Deal Voucher expire?

Yes.  Once the Gift Certificates and/or Dining Deal Vouchers reach their expiration dates, they lose their value.  Don’t worry! Most of these have expiration dates of at least three (3) months after the purchase date. Also, RestaurantBar.com will send you an email reminding you of the expiration date one (1) month prior to the expiration date.

What should I do if I place an order, but do not receive a confirmation email?

Don’t Worry. Make sure you’re checking the correct email address that matches the one that is on file for your RestaurantBar.com account. Also, check your spam filters or junk mail folder in case the confirmation email was inadvertently emailed there. Also login to your RestaurantBar.com account click on My Deal section.

Are there any restrictions for using the Gift Certificates?

Yes.  Please read our standard terms and conditions that apply to our Gift Certificates, as well as the restaurant’s special instructions.  The Gift Certificates may only be used if all of the terms are followed.

Am I required to have an account to add items to the site?

Yes. In order to add any item, including Free items, to the directory you must have an account.

How can I signup for an account?

To signup as a member go to " Restaurant Owners" link at bottom menu, select an item and level and click in "Order Now" button. Fill out all fields, write down your username and password for future reference, choose the best payment gateway for you and follow the steps to finish the process.

What determines which listings appear as Featured Listings on the Home Page?

Only Showcase Listings appear as Featured Listings, and they are then randomly rotated.
