I don't know where to begin with the Post Pub. When I worked at Pennamco, Inc. a morgage banking firm directly across from the Washington Post, the Post House, as it was called then was a regular lunch place for me and my co-workers. This was 1972 until 1980 when I moved away from the D.C. area. Let me tell you..I have wonderful lunch memories as well as Happy Hour ones for many years ago. What I wouldn't give for Hostess Marion to seat me, and waitress "Lee" to bring me a "Dip"..the Diplomatburger and some onion rings. They also had a wonderful chef salad and specials daily...I can't remember the prices, but I think the Dip was around $2.75 Ah, the memories! I hope that I can get back there before it's gone.
