Description
Nestled in the Heart of Boston's Historic North End
TARANTA is still quite young in the eyes of Boston's famous North End, yet it has managed to make possibly the biggest mark in the oldest part of Boston. After having a previous history with other famous and well respected restaurants in "little Italy".
TARANTA is the result of a marriage between Southern Italian Cuisine and Peruvian Cuisine, and it's success is due to its quality of food and service, and having a strong personality really helps. TARANTA cooks and lives Southern Italian cuisine with a Peruvian twist. Chef-Owner José Duarte who is originally from Peru and wife Anna, have focused on this massive feat and the critics agree, TARANTA Cucina Meridionale has done it, better than ever. Taranta became a green certified restaurant in October 2007 after completing several environmental changes. Taranta has received the City of Boston Green Bussines Award in 2008 and is continuing a sustainable, carbon neutral business practique for the next years.
