Executive Chef Clayton Miller of Trummer's On Main has been named one of Food & Wine magazine's Best New Chefs of 2010. In its 22nd year, the prestigious award was announced this evening live at the Four Seasons restaurant in New York City.

Chef Miller opened Trummer's On Main with Stefan and Victoria Trummer in July 2009 in Victoria's hometown of Clifton. His trademark Creative American cuisine focusing on simple, globally influenced fare garnered both local and national acclaim. Previously, Miller was Executive Chef at Norman Van Aken's Norman's in Orlando, Florida.

Clifton, a town that is renowned for historical events is about to see another. Located just 25 miles from Washington, DC, Clifton is the place that George Washington and Lord Fairfax hunted; the spot the Confederate and the Union met at throughout the Civil War; and the first town to have electricity in Virginia. This quaint destination's historic Clifton Hotel, established in 1869, has experienced a re-birth.
U.S. Presidents and generals have been a part of the history of The Clifton Hotel since 1869. Now, restaurateur couple Stefan and Victoria Trummer along with their culinary counterparts take charge of history setting a course for Creative American cuisine at the new Trummer's On Main. Executive Chef Clayton Miller will oversee this menu along with Pastry Chef Chris Ford creating the dessert menu. Sommelier Tyler Packwood has developed a wine list comprised from the openview wine cellar that holds over 8,000 bottles. And hand-crafted cocktails are the skills of owner Stefan Trummer.

Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 5:30pm - 9:30pm, Friday & Saturday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm, Sunday: 5pm-8pm (special three course menu for $38)

Bar is open at 4:30pm Monday - Saturday and is open until 11pm or later.
